CME Group Globex Exchange Fee Waivers
We are extremely excited to announce that DTN IQFeed has received approval from the CME Group to offer
its customers Exchange Fee Waivers on CME Group Globex data! With the exchange fee waivers DTN IQFeed customers
will continue to receive the high quality DTN IQFeed data service, can choose the most effective brokerage service for their trading
style, and still use the analytics/order entry platform that helps increase profitable trades.
The process is quite simple:
If you are a Broker: Contact Jay Froscheiser at jay.froscheiser@telventdtn.com or 800-485-4000 ext. 2816. Jay will
provide you all of the details needed to qualify you to offer exchange fee waivers to your customers. There is no cost to get qualified and the process takes less than 5 minutes.
All you need to do is verify that your customers have a funded trading account and are using a 3rd party software app with IQFeed
that has the ability to trade through you. A list of qualified software is available on our Compatible Software page. Plus, with your partnership
with DTN IQFeed, we will be able to start sending you business! Our customers are anxious to get setup with the exchange fee waivers, so we will be sending them to Brokers
who have gone through the quick qualification process and use a qualified order entry application.
If you are a Trader: Scroll to the bottom of this page to check if your broker is listed as a qualified broker and make sure you
are using one of the 3rd party applications that have been approved by the CME Group to offer the exchange fee waivers through DTN IQFeed.
Then, just contact your broker with your DTN IQFeed loginID and they will handle everything to make sure you receive the exchange fee waivers on your DTN IQFeed account. For exchange compliance, your software application
must be able to trade directly through your broker.
If you don't see your Broker listed, contact them as soon as possible and ask them to contact Jay Froscheiser at jay.froscheiser@telventdtn.com or 800-485-4000 ext. 2816. Make
sure they know that you want the best data in the industry and want to start saving on exchange fees as soon as possible. If you can't get your Broker to contact Jay, email
your Broker's contact information to Jay Froscheiser and he will follow up to get them going. Otherwise, give one of the Broker's on our list a call as they have shown interest
in providing their customers the best overall service and value.
FAQs:
Q: What do I get with the Exchange Waiver Program?
A: You will receive access to real time CME Group Globex data in real time. For the majority of our
customers, this will include the Eminis from CME, CBOT and/or Nymex. You just pay the DTN IQFeed service
fees! The rest of the IQFeed service will be unchanged. In other words, you will still get the fastest, most reliable, tick by tick data available.
You will still get real time news, over 400 market breadth/stats symbols and years of intraday historical data.
Q: What if I use software that doesn't provide the ability to trade through my broker?
A: Unfortunately it is an exchange requirement that your software interface that utilizes IQFeed
data must be able to execute trades to our broker. If the software you use doesn't have an order entry interface, or that order
entry interface doesn't work with your broker, the exchange will not approve the exchange fee waivers for your account.
Q: What if I want data other than CME Group Globex data?
A: No problem! You just need to pay the exchange fees for other exchanges or non-globex data and
you will receive this data in real time as well. As always, any data you don't choose to receive in real time will still
be available to you delayed at no extra charge (unless the exchange charges a delayed exchange fee).
Q: Why is this being offered?
A: The CME Group is interested in generating trade revenue. They understand that making data, news and tools
available to traders will help drive volume on the exchange.
Q: What if my Broker won't go through the quick Qualification Process with DTN IQFeed?
A: Unfortunately we must have cooperation from your Broker in order to provide you exchange fee waivers.
In all honesty, there is no reason for a Broker to not do this. If they absolutely refuse, we would suggest finding a Broker
who is interested in satisfying your specific requirements (which should include providing you cost effective and professional trading tools).
Q: Which 3rd party software do I need to use to qualify for Exchange Fee Waivers?
A: Here is a list of software the CME Group has approved due to their ability to execute trades through a qualifying broker. Hopefully this list will
grow as the CME Group approves additional partner products.

Q: Why isn't Interactive Brokers on the list (IB)?
A: We have contacted IB numerous times on behalf of our joint customers requesting their participation in the Exchange Fee
Waiver program for IQFeed users. At this time, the response we received from their Manager of Data Services is that they don't have the manpower to support the program.
If you are an Interactive Brokers customer, please contact them to request that they participate. A poll has been setup on
IB's website at http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/general/poll/poll.php?sid=6179 as well. In addition to answering the poll,
please contact IB directly with your request that they support the IQFeed Exchange Fee Waiver program.
